My services: I do translations (written) and interpreting (oral) between Russian and English. My interpreting is sequential, not simultaneous.

Formats: As for texts, I can work with Word/Excel/Powerpoint (MS Office) and Pages/Numbers/Keynote (iWork) documents. If you have something else in mind, let's check in advance if I can find a way to open and work with them, but can't guarantee. The easiest and best thing to do is that you copy the text you need to get translated from the software of your choice (like your proprietary email system or desktop publishing software) to say Word and send me Word file. You send me files in one of the above formats and you receive it back in the same format, very simple.

As for interpreting - this is where things get tricky - the preferred venue is Skype, so we setup a conference-call for three parties: you, the person you want to talk to and me, and then we, uh, talk. You might be willing to link me up to some of your own conference-call system, it's ok with me if you're finding the way of doing it on your own. You can call my mobile to link me up, or Skype. The other rare chance is that you're in Novosibirsk, Russia (the place I live in) and then I can attend to your meeting in person.

Timing: Obviously, how long will it take depends on the size of what you need done and other assignments at hand, but roughly speaking for my normal workload - if you have up to 5 pages it will be done in 1 day. It would be great to hear about work coming about a day ahead so I can plan my time. Email me on what you need to get translated and I'll get back to you with the time I need to get it done. However, I don't turn down customers just because they're in a real hurry. Email or call me (if in real hurry) and we will see.
