Pricing: This is very simple - USD 0,02 per word for written texts. Almost any office software like Word has a function called 'word count' which shows how many words are there in the texts, and this is a basis for pricing, both you and me are able to see how much it is going to cost. As a rough indication, a common text typed in Word with 12-size font in Arial is going to cost 8-12 dollars to translate depending on how often the writer jumped to a new paragraph. But again, you're charged for actual words, e.g. for actual work done, not pages. I charge USD 25 per hour for oral interpreting. The only other thing to remember is that the cost of transaction for actually paying me is to be covered on your side. Payment terms: I prefer wire-transfer, for which I will tell you the necessary banking details. Western Union is also good, but they normally cost too much per transaction. Like I said before the transaction costs are your responsibility. My services are post-paid, which means I first deliver, then get paid, which is fair enough since you most likely don't know me yet, and below is another reason for this. And yes, I don't insist on paying per every document or piece of work done so you don't have to do godzillion of little transactions (and paying for each to the bank). I'm normally ok to accumulate the cost of services to you to USD 1000 before requesting my payment, and long-lasting customer relations can go beyond that sum. Satisfaction guaranteed and no-BS statement: I've been at the receiving end of many services across my life and business. The one thing I really hate is when service provider is bullshitting or upcharging and ripping me off. I really hate when people start to add like - oh you have to pay for this and for this and this is extra, and we need to add this, and no this is normal practice. Bollocks to that! So my first promise is this - what is stated here, is my official terms, I would never upcharge you on anything if it is not mentioned here. Another point is this - I'm doing my business on my own, and I'm pretty confident in what I deliver, so my offer to you is really simple - don't like, don't pay. That simple. If you by any chance when receiving my services start to think that my quality is not good enough, or that I break some of my promises and deadlines, you're ok not to pay, or paying less than agreed price, what you feel like paying, if you don't feel like I performed to promised standards. No questions asked. Oh, ok, actually I will ask you just one question - what exactly you didn't like, but I will not go into argument with you about whether I think this right or not or defend myself. You're not happy, you don't pay. What to do if you want my services: just email me with brief description of what you need to get translated and I come back to you.
